Seeing Our Home
Hobsons Bay Arts Society with the support of the Hobsons Bay Council through its Make it Happen Grants Program, and in partnership with local historical and environmental groups are excited to present a series of informative talks combined with artist supported sketching sessions. Designed with the needs of both beginners and the experienced in mind, these sessions are geared to engage and inspire participants with the diverse history and ecology of a range of sites in the Hobsons Bay environment.
Nine sessions are planned to take place on the 3rd Saturday of the month between September 2021 and May 2022, and participation is free. A limited number of in person places are available for each session, but those who can’t attend in person will be able to join us remotely via video link.
On location participants are provided with sketching materials, but make sure that you dress for the weather. Online participants can view the presentation and can draw along with HBAS artists as they sketch selected scenes which you can upload to the event gallery
