Featured Artist of the November 2018 -Lorraine Wotherspoon

Lorraine was born in Brunswick, the youngest of five children. Lorraine’s interest in art started at an early age when she started drawing in ledger books the only available paper at the time mostly horses and then cartoons copied from swap cards.
From about the 1980’s Lorraine had more opportunity to explore art in many different forms, which gave her a thirst for learning and exploring all the different mediums, broadening her knowledge also by participating in workshops with different artists. What she likes most is what she is working on at the time.
Lorraine has entered her work in different art exhibitions throughout Victoria and has been an active member of the Glenroy Art Group since 2010, exhibiting in their annual art shows twice a year and has received multiple awards over these years. She also recently joined the Hobsons Bay Art Society.
Lorraine hopes you enjoy her work on her journey of learning
