 Demonstrations & Activity Nights

Activity Nights are held on the 4th
Monday of each month from 7.00 - 9.00 pm at the Louis Joel Arts & Community Centre, 5 Sargood Street, Altona.   Members (Free) and guests ($10) are all welcome.

Participants in HBAS activities are required to conform to the COVID rules of the organization where the activity is being held.   This normally requires the participant to have a valid COVID vaccination certificate or an authorised medical exemption.

Up and coming Activity Nights.....

Please note that the May and June activity nights have been swapped so Gaye will now run the May activity night previously to be with Lorraine Rodgers, and Lorraine will run the June activity night.

Monday May 22nd:
Gaye Pereira-Jackson - Doodle Art with Watercolour

Why Doodle? Can doodling be considered an artform?
Come along and find out for yourself! Gaye Pereira-Jackson loves to doodle while watching TV, waiting at appointments or sitting in a train, plane, boat or car! Rather than just scribbling on random scraps of paper, she has made it an art form and encourages her Doodlers to ‘doodle with a purpose’ both in online as well as in group sessions. Anyone can doodle and while you doodle, personalise some birthday cards, thank you notes, create little paintings or even doodle over discarded water colour paintings and bring them back to life!
What you need to bring?
1.     Watercolours and a brush! A permanent black pen, marker (Sharpie, Micron, Uniball, Posca etc) but I will have these also so don’t worry if you haven’t any!
2.     Loads of laughter and fun!
