Into my 2nd Maternity Leave, there was a trigger to create... I hada lot of emotions that needed to come out through the paintbrush.
I have a great pleasure in painting the grumpiest looking girls, vibrant colour clashes, abstract elements and whimsical animals, far off landscapes.
And although trying to hone my style - I’ve recently let go and open to paint anything I want.
I'm a maximalist, I can’t do simple, I can’t paint minimal, I like layers and layers of too much stuff, I'm a hoarder, I'm a serial hard rubbish stealer!
I have a 2m square corner of the world I call my studio (the other end of the loungeroom)
My art is varied and evolving.
