Featured Artist: Julie De Rose
I have been an artist for 40 odd years and it means a lot to me. It opens up your eyes to the world around you and all the colours that make up our world. The sky is the limit on what you can achieve.
My favourite medium is oil, I love what you can do with it as you can work it until you get the result you’re after. As I have been devoted to art for such a long time I have also enjoyed exploring a range of mediums and enjoy the unique finish you can achieve with each form.
I have received several awards in various local exhibitions and am proud to be part of the Hobsons Bay Art Society.
